NATO exercise Brilliant Jump 2024, part of the exercise Steadfast Defender series, successfully concluded on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024 in the Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area in Northern Poland.

“Exercise Brilliant Jump has demonstrated the high level of readiness of our NATO Allies to rapidly deploy, integrate and collectively deter and defend Alliance territory. I am assured our Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) is trained, skilled and capable to respond to any threat at any time from any direction,” said JFC Brunssum spokesperson, Colonel Frank Warda.

For over a week, Allied Forces from Albania, Poland, Spain, Türkiye and the United Kingdom, which comprise the VJTF, honed their skills in rapid deployment, readiness and responsiveness. Over 3,000 military personnel with 700 vehicles trained and tested their capabilities.

Exercise Brilliant Jump , conducted under the command of Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, is an operational and tactical level Alert and Deployment exercise aimed at strengthening the Alliances’ deterrence and defence posture.

VJTF troops are now preparing to move east across the country to join other troops for Polish-led exercise Dragon 24.
